Section I: General Waiver

I, the undersigned individual, understand, acknowledge, and assume the risks and dangers associated with participation and attendance at NIO Summit 2024 (the “Event”), including without limitation, the potential for personal injury, sickness and disease (including COVID-19); situations unknown to or beyond the immediate control of the Event Organizers; and other undefined, not readily foreseeable and presently unknown risks and dangers (“Risks”). I understand that these Risks may be caused in whole or in part by my own actions or inactions, the actions or inactions of others participating in the Event, or the negligent acts or omissions of the Released Parties defined below, and I hereby expressly assume all such Risks and responsibility for any damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses which I incur as a result of my participation in the Event.

Therefore, I hereby release Next After LLC (“the Event Organizer”) and its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensees, subsidiaries, consultants, independent contractors, affiliates, sponsors, exhibitors, and other participants (collectively the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability from property damage, personal injury, or other claims arising from or in connection with my participation in the Event, including claims known and unknown, foreseen and unforeseen, future or contingent.

The conference is hosted by the Event Organizer. By registering for this event, I agree to receive follow-up communication from the Event Organizer, sponsors, and exhibitors (the “Event Sponsors”) about products & services.

I agree that I will not now or at any time in the future, directly or indirectly begin or prosecute any action, suit, or other proceeding against the Event Organizer, Event Sponsors, or Released Parties and their officers, directors, employees, agents, licensees, subsidiaries, consultants, independent contractors, and affiliates arising out of or relating to the actions, claims, and demands hereby waived, released, or discharged by me.

Section II: Media Release:

Additionally, I, the undersigned individual, grant the Event Organizer, the perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free right and license to:

• Record my participation and appearance on digital or film photography, video, audio or any other medium (collectively, the “Recordings”).
• Use my name (or any fictional name), likeness, voice and biographical material and information in connection with these Recordings to be used only in or for Event written, electronic and web publications, including social media and apps (the “Purpose”).
• Reproduce, distribute, publicly display and/or publicly perform, in print, electronic or any other medium, copies of the Recordings, in whole or in part. Grantor represents that he or she possesses all rights necessary to grant this permission for and in connection with the Purpose.

I am voluntarily making this grant of rights. I further agree to release and forever discharge Event Organizer, its agents, employees and designated representatives from any and all claims in law or equity that I, my heirs or personal representatives have or shall have arising out of Recordings.

Applicable to Section II only; If at any time after acceptance of Section II: Media Release and up until the start of the event, you would like to withdraw this release you must email niosupport@nextafter.com and request confirmation of this request. 

By registering for the Event, I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand this General Waiver & Media Release form. This agreement shall be binding on me, my spouse, my children, legal representatives, heirs, successors, and assigns.
